So many hurting people....

Today we live in a world with despair surrounding every corner. People have become cold, hardened and hurt deep in their cores. We, as followers of Christ need to reach out to these people. We need to share the love inside us with others. To be Christian is not only to minister, it is to live as Christ would. Actions speak so much louder than words.
Reach out and lend your ears, your hands and your hearts to those who need hope. Love your neighbors with all your hearts and souls. And God will do the rest!

As we speak, there are fires all over the earth. Thousands have lost their homes, their security, businesses etc. Not to mention how many lives were lost.
Upon reading news articles and watching a few international news channels, I have watched how the international community is reaching out its arms to help. As with 9-11, the Tsunami and other disasterous events throughout this decade alone. It gives hope....and sometimes a little hope can save ones spirit and faith. God bless all those out there whom are contributing to those in need all around the world, during all saddening events.

Thoughts To Ponder
It
doesn't do a whole lot to be so spiritual and heavenly minded that
we're no earthly good. We have to remember that while we're not OF this
world any longer, we're still in it....at least for awhile. And during
that "while" we're supposed to "redeem our time wisely," simply meaning
that we have a job to do while we're here. And that is nothing more and
nothing less than to be a light unto the world, showing forth the good
works to which we have been called and created for, to spread the
Gospel of Jesus Christ, to make disciples and bring Glory to God.
It
