Sooooooo . . . given the obvious truth of this statement, and given the purpose of this Site--"Uniting Christians"--how do we facilite the uniting of all the "pieces" of Christ's Body scattered throughout the 1001 denominations and Christian belief systems?

Judgmental as i am and needing to be "right" as i do, i often have great difficulty in accepting other Christian points of view--especially in areas such as method of worship, "faith vs works", "eternal security," ad infinitum. i assume others have similar struggles--otherwise there wouldn't be 1001 denominations and Christian belief systems.

How can i--we--let go of all this extraneous baggage and make the Kingdom a concrete reality--in its temporal manifestation, of course--by putting the pieces together to complete the puzzle so that God's Church can become a witness to God--a "City On A Hill"--rather than a laughing stock of an increasingly atheistic world? If i can't put the pieces together in my own family--4 people who all love God going to 4 different Churches--how can it be brought about world-wide? i know it will take the Holy Spirit working in hearts to bring this about--BUT HOW AND WHEN?

Its so hard, and I apologize for taking so long to respond. The basics, Christ came, He died , and he rose again. And he is infact coming are the glue if you will. However his coming is debatable among christians. Christ, the only glue. I dont think we can ever be truly like minded, I hope we can in this format at least. I am non denominational and simply hope for all to except Christ.
