First Question.....
This is a common question among Christians today....please share your thoughts and insights to this simple, yet profound question so many ask today.
In Scripture, it's said that Christians are 'in the
world, but not of it'. How are you not "of" the world or of the
culture, lifestyle, or worldview around you? How does that
reflect your beliefs?

Hmm....
I put that rather badly when I just should have said, Jesus said ye are not of this world.
As Christians we are one in Christ Jesus, making us one with God the Father and by his Holy spirit indwelling within us we are one in the spirit
Anything less, then we are in the carnal, that which is flesh is flesh, that which is spirit is spirit. Being in the flesh is most certainly of this world. that which is flesh cannot recieve the things of God for they are spiritually discerned.
Therefore ye are not of this world!

Besides there was something I'd like to add to this message for the serious bible student, its a free download for a program named Bible Explorer 4. It has additional books you can download and they are free as well, like a Strongs concordance, in Greek and Hebrew. It truly is amazing but takes a bit of memory, you can look it over first so that you decide whether to download it, Phew! I'm finished.
Heres the link...

There are reams of study material and most of it is free. Videos prayer groups, they do have books for purchase but why? that program comes with more than you would ever get to! The FAQ is in a video format as well.

And that is as it should be...free. The word of God should never be sold. I wish these televangalist types and money grongers would get that!!!

Re: First Question.....
Ok. For the new ones in Christ, how does one become one with the Spirit, one in Christ and one in God? How do we know we are not carnal?
People can search and focus for years and still miss it...how do we know if we are missing the boat, or if we are on it?

Re: First Question.....
Well we are not of this world because when one becomes saved they have a new resurrected soul with Christ, but our sinful bodies remain until the final judgment..so our souls are not of this world..
