Magnetic Pole Shifts
I heard that we are close to a magnetic pole shift. But there's always another side to the story.

Re: Magnetic Pole Shifts
I heard something like this too. I will have to research this. If you find any articles, can you post them? The more informed we are, the better weaponry we can gain.
Re: Magnetic Pole Shifts
This isn't about magnetic pole shifting, but instead about global warming. My 2 cents here...Since watching the William Cooper videos and researching about him, I would bet he could have a field day with this article!!! Now, on to Russia planting their flag....Something is UP! (Or should I say Down) As well, Siberia is the place where many moons ago drillers, including from Russia, supposedly heard hell and recorded it. Not sure if that one is possible, as they stated it was 2000 + degrees, so what recorder could withstand that temp...??? And not much has surfaced in recent years...since the media devoured it when the tape surfaced. And we all know about the media....do not trust it...
Anyways, here is yet another ice-bergs are melting article....
Analysts See 'Simply Incredible' Shrinking of Floating Ice
in the Arctic
By ANDREW C. REVKIN - NYT
August 10, 2007
The area of floating ice in the Arctic has shrunk more this
summer than in any other summer since satellite tracking
began in 1979, and it has reached that record point a month
before the annual ice pullback typically peaks, experts said
yesterday.
The cause is probably a mix of natural fluctuations, like
unusually sunny conditions in June and July, and long-term
warming from heat-trapping greenhouse gases and sooty
particles accumulating in the air, according to several
scientists.
William L. Chapman, who monitors the region at the
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and posted a Web
report on the ice retreat yesterday, said that only an
abrupt change in conditions could prevent far more melting
before the 24-hour sun of the boreal summer set in
September. "The melting rate during June and July this year
was simply incredible," Mr. Chapman said. "And then you've
got this exposed black ocean soaking up sunlight and you
wonder what, if anything, could cause it to reverse course."
Mark Serreze, a sea-ice expert at the National Snow and Ice
Data Center in Boulder, Colo., said his center's estimates
differed somewhat from those of the Illinois team, and by
the ice center's reckoning the retreat had not surpassed the
satellite-era record set in 2005. But it was close even by
the center's calculations, he said, adding that it is almost
certain that by September, there will be more open water in
the Arctic than has been seen for a long time. Ice experts
at NASA and the University of Washington echoed his
assessment.
Dr. Serreze said that a high-pressure system parked over the
Arctic appeared to have caused a "triple whammy" - keeping
away clouds, causing winds to carry warm air north and
pushing sea ice away from Siberia, exposing huge areas of
open water.
The progressive summertime opening of the Arctic has
intensified a longstanding international tug of war over
shipping routes and possible oil and gas deposits beneath
the Arctic Ocean seabed.
Last week, Russians planted a flag on the seabed at the
North Pole. On Wednesday, Stephen Harper, the Canadian prime
minister, began a tour of Canada's Arctic holdings, pledging
"to vigorously protect our Arctic sovereignty as
international interest in the region increases."

Re: Magnetic Pole Shifts
I forgot to note, that in many Christians believe Siberia to be one of the gateways to hell. Many Christians and non-hristians alike, believe this.
(And on an interesting note, when I originally typed this, my entire comp. system shut off....interesting!!! lol)

Re: Magnetic Pole Shifts
That is interesting.
Did you ever hear about when the russians dug a hole deep into the ground and put a microphone in it they heard screams of human voices?
It happened Siberia. Some say it's not true and it's just a folk tale. But there's always "the rest of the story". There is some truth to stories.
Thanks,
TT

Re: Magnetic Pole Shifts
Yeah, I posted that somewhere around here earlier. I do question the fact that they say the temps reached over 2000+ degrees and they still were able to record it, unless there was some form of protection and even then, it sounds a little hollywood, if you hear it....mainly a woman screaming, some man garbling something and alot of moans...like a zombie movie....but you never know. We weren't there, so we really can't say.
Sigh
Sigh

Do the pole shifts allegedly effect gravity??
