Re: To Begin
"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not. They are new every
morning: great is thy faithfulness."
(Lamentations 3:22-23)

Re: To Begin
I thought this also fit here...as I pondered upon this verse....
"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This
is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand,
and when ye turn to the left." (Isaiah 30:21)
Some may not agree....but somehow the Lord fed me this upon reading your post about answering with a question.....how often we do not do that and just automatically say "Yes." The Lord will lead our steps, will we speak or will we let Him...?

The Wisdom Of Solomon
And it also reads for both young and old alike!
THE PROVERBS
Chapter 1
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
1.To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
2.To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
3.To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
4.wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
5.To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
6.The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
7.My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
8.For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
9.My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
10.If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
11.Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
12.We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
13.My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
14.For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood
What we all have is a friend in Jesus, his name alone is sufficient for me
In Christ, our risen Lord,
Lee
