WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO?

One thing that gets me is the horrible language society has put into our mouth. It makes me sad going around the grocery store and hearing LITTLE KIDS cussing at their parents, and how they don't seem to do anything. Punishment seems to be worse than the crime these days. I got spanked as a kid, and now I get grounded. Now if we're at McDonalds and my mom threatens to spank my brother, we get strange looks...and someone even said said to her when my dad said that "you need to get out of this abusive relationship." I'm like WHAT???

What do I do? I pray. I pray and cry for these people.

I seem to sleep better after I have some time with God before I go to bed. And really, what is this world coming to?

Something that happened in NASCAR recently. A guy won the race, and then cussed on TV. He got fined $25k and 25 points. Now people are standing up for him!! "nascar needs more people like him." Umm...no, they don't. Keep in mind this is a family sport. Kids look up to these people!!

Kids? whose kids, as a young daddy a friend of mine when I asked him this question, how do you handle it, correcting your children. He said, Lee, first, don't ever strike a child with something personal, your hand, a belt, etc. What you do is, go to the hardware store and buy a doweling, thats like a switch but called a rod, I called it, the rod of correction. I sat down with the boys and said these are the rules, if you break a rule, do you see that rod in the corner? They understood, well I'll give you a rule to live by that may even save your bacon some day. Break a rule 3 swats on the bare bottom, over and done. One day my oldest was out by our car, he was lighting matches next to the fuel tank. So, I called him inside, told him I saw what he did and then and there he pulled his pants down a took his 3. Just a small example I know, but today both of them don't drink, take drugs etc. My youngest has his own company. Yes, the rod of correction never failed.

Now I'm asking this question more with all the fires in Greece. Who would do such a thing, and what do they have to gain? Killing innocent people? I don't see how that is good...some people are just coldblooded...and they really need God

There are two theories that people are talking about. Politically motivated with the coming elections in Sept. OR, to level as much as they can, so property values go way down, and contractors can come in and rebuild new and expensive houses.

So they don't care if they kill people and wipe out cities?!? Goodness!

See. Here is a heavy scoop. There are those in the world that think people are disposable....like animals. These people have no souls....and unfortunately, they do exist. So just keep praying that all the victims around the world of any politically, or money motivated genocides, deaths, killings etc, that they are forgiven anything they have done, and go straight to our Lord!!!!!
